Baking, books & community
Baking became my place of peace and renewal. I wrote about that journey in Cake Therapy: How Baking Changed My Life, founded the Minneapolis cake studio Sugarspoon Desserts, and with Dr. Oladi Bentho co-founded The Cake Therapy Foundation, which offers baking as therapy to systems-impacted women and girls.
In 2023 I was named one of Disruptors Magazine's Top 20 unstoppable women entrepreneurs to watch.
“I hope to keep sharing my expertise and my love for seeing people smile, through baking, cake therapy and building community.”
